Reverend Leonard Jenyns lived in Bath from 1850 to 1893. A key member of the Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution, he carefully recorded signs of the seasons — like when flowers bloomed or birds first arrived every year. His notes and diaries still help scientists understand how nature and climate are changing today.
